31 And as though it had been a trivial thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, ^ahe married Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the ^bSidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshiped him. 32 So he erected an altar for Baal at ^cthe house of Baal, which he built in Samaria. 33 Ahab also made ^dthe ^{▼▼I.e., wooden symbol of a female deity}Asherah. So ^fAhab did more to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him.
